Do I need coding knowledge?

No. The AI page builder and visual editor let you create responsive sites through chat and point-and-click edits. Prefer local React files and git? Use the CLI (Dashboard vs CLI). Developers can also use the client SDK and MCP for agents.

How is Webstorio different from other AI website builders?

Webstorio includes a production backend from day one — CMS, database, forms, store, auth, APIs, and hosting. Many AI builders only output front-end prototypes you still have to host and wire up yourself.

Yes. Free forever, no credit card — ideal for a simple link directory, invitation, or single-page site (1 website, 1 page, basic CMS, 5 AI credits/month). Starter is the plan to try everything Webstorio offers: custom domain, forms, online store, and more pages.

How do AI credits work?

Credits are consumed when you use AI features (mainly the page builder). ~1 credit per chat message on average; complex tasks use more. Monthly allowance depends on your plan; unused credits don’t roll over. → AI credits

Can I export my site if I leave?

You own your content and data. Export options (code, content, database) are available by contacting support. Webstorio is designed so you typically don’t need to self-host — but you’re not locked in.
